About Luis Carlos Abellan
I photograph the effort, skill and character of sport at the level most people actually play.
From the touchline to the final whistle.
THE APPROACH
Local sport, properly seen
I believe amateur athletes and grassroots teams deserve photographs that show the effort, character and atmosphere of their sport. That includes the individual player, the youth side, the second or third team and the local tournament.
I work across Kent, South East England and London, with an eye for the play itself and the small reactions that make every match different.
